Meet the People Behind the Mission
Angela
Angela is the founder of The Deserving Dogs Ranch. She has dreamt of having an animal sanctuary since she was young and now that it's here she has dedicated her life to this work. With 17 years experience as a veterinary technician and 12 years as a trainer she brings her calmness and life experience to help the animals.
Sidney
Sidney is the owner of an Artisan Design and Build for over ten years. We are now blessed with his talents of working here full time to build the sanctuary out for all the animals. He has many talents but takes pride in his attention to detail. Because of him the animals have everything they need.
Alexis
Alexis and Angela met over 16 years ago while working together at a no kill dog shelter in Santa Barbara, CA. Today, Alexis brings that same compassion and experience to the ranch.
This keeps the focus on her experience and love for vulnerable animals, which really supports our rescue’s mission.
